At Spin Master, I work on developing new toys for preschoolers. I lead products throughout the development cycles, taking them from concept to on shelf! Product Development work at hologic inc
At Hologic, I worked on developing new gynecological medical devices in order to further GYN healthcare. My main role on this team was to support the lead mechanical engineer with design work while running design verification activities including requirement development, test method development, fixture design, and test method validation. I also supported current product lines when needed with failure root cause analysis, manufacturing updates, and sales training. Due to my NDA I am unable to speak to the specifics of the products I am worked, but below are some of my key accomplishments I’ve had in this role.
Key Accomplishments
Designed and prototyped electronics enclosure for new piece of capital equipment
Led initial manufacturing build of alpha prototypes for new medical device - including building out BOMs and assembly instructions along side manufacturing engineers
Stepped in as lead engineer for Design History File remediation due to new EU medical device regulations for the NovaSure Ablation System
Nominated as InnoSight BEAN Captain - placed second in internal innovation competition
Served as R&D representative in exploratory pipeline development project, creating journey maps, discussion guides for physician interview, and presented analysis to senior leadership
